Rufus exceptional temperament and personality have earned him both a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) award and a TDI (Therapy Dog International) Title. 

He is very friendly to everyone, including strangers and other dogs. Rufus exhibits a demeanor of confidence.  This most likely stems from his background with agility training from early puppy-hood.

Rufus's beautiful and correct angulation enables him to move almost effortlessly in the show ring.  He is pictured below as a youngster, gaiting with Jewel McDonald, his first handler.

Rufus has intensely dark pigment, rounded cat-like feet,  and a perfect scissors bite.
